July: A Fruitful Month in Kebun Baru
July is known as the fruit month in Singapore, and this year, Kebun Baru celebrated with a series of fruit parties across the neighbourhood. Residents gathered to enjoy a rich variety of tropical fruits, with durians and mangosteens taking centre stage. Fondly known as the “King of Fruits”, durian was the highlight of the season as neighbours shared tips on the best varieties and savoured the creamy flesh together.
Beyond the delicious fruits, the gatherings brought families, friends and neighbours together to share conversations, laughter and quality time. More than just a feast, the fruit parties celebrated the kampung spirit that continues to thrive in Kebun Baru, where simple moments create lasting community bonds.

Residents gathered at the Villas Fruit Party to enjoy a variety of tropical fruits and connect with neighbours.

Mayflower Gardens RN Durian Party brought over 200 residents together to savour fresh durians and celebrate the fruit season.
