Kebun Baru Walk with Papazao

On 27 October, around 1,000 residents gathered for a vibrant Sunday morning at the Kebun Baru Walk with Papazao, brought by Kebun Baru CSN.

Papazao is a mass walk initiative by local filmmaker Jack Neo, which started during the pandemic, inspired by viewers of Neo’s livestreams who proposed meeting up for walks on weekends. The very first edition took place in 2020 at Bukit Timah Hill after the lockdown.

Our Kebun Baru Walk with Papazao began with an energizing brisk walk from Bishan MRT to Kebun Baru Community Club, where residents enjoyed the fresh air, scenic views, and camaraderie with neighbours along the way.Upon reaching Kebun Baru CC, participants were delighted by lively performances from the Papazao artistes, adding excitement and joy to the morning’s activities. Each participant also received a goodie bag packed with treats, generously provided by our partners and sponsors—Singapore Police Force Ang Mo Kio Division, Mr Bean Singapore, Elitez Group, Lions Club of Singapore Nanyang Grace, and Encik Guan.

We are excited to host more community activities like this, inviting residents to join us for health, fun, and the beautiful scenery in Kebun Baru.

Halloween Party at Thomson Hills RN

Thomson Hills Residents’ Network Halloween Party on 26 October 2024 was a frightfully fun evening that united the community in a night of spooky celebrations. From imaginative costumes to thrilling games and delicious treats, residents of all ages fully embraced the Halloween spirit, making it a truly memorable event.

The party’s success was a testament to the enthusiasm and community spirit of Thomson Hills residents. It was wonderful to see neighbours connecting, children enjoying the activities, and families creating cherished memories together.
